About Fibber McGee & Molly

Our name, Fibber McGee’s was conceived at the kitchen table of long time
friends Jim & Mary Fagrell in the fall of 1994 while brain storming
ideas for our pending restaurant debut.
The actual name derived from the 1935 radio comedy show called “Fibber McGee & Molly” which followed the popular radio drama “Dark Shadows” and aired for an incredible 25 years until 1960.
Our version of Mr. McGee’s adventures began back in the early 1970’s at
the Old Fresno Hofbrau while tending bar to support himself while
attending Fresno State. After two decades of experience in the related
industry he decided to open his own place, and the rest as they say, is
history.
